53 of 1,169 legal entities registered in Azerbaijan during January-March belonged to state property, 985 – to private property, 104 – to foreign invested and 27 – to joint entities.

        State Statistical Committee says 58.9% of new entities were registered in Baku, 13.7% - in Aran, 7.2% - in Absheron and 6% - in Ganja-Gazakh economic region, others – in other regions.

        At the same time, according to Ministry of Taxes, 16,659 individuals were registered in January-March, 2012. They were mainly registered in Baku, Aran, Ganja-Gazakh, Shaki-Zakatala, Yukhari Garabakh and Lankaran economc regions.
