On January 8, 2019, BHM organized a meeting with AmCham Legal and Compliance Committee. The meeting started with the presentation of Ms. Patricia H. Lee, a professor of Law at Saint Louis University, on U.S. entrepreneurship laws and strategies, IP, access to capital and crowdfunding, experience on supporting SMEs and the role of entrepreneurship programs and strategies. 

In addition, Mr. Matin Asgar, BHM Partner and AmCham Legal and Compliance Committee Deputy Chair, delivered a presentation covering issues about legislative and institutional reforms supporting small and medium businesses as well as recent amendments to Tax Code bringing tax incentives to new SME categories in Azerbaijan.
